This post is to show the work as I progressed in making a beaded crystal heart.
This crystal heart has flat sides so it was possible to sew around and through the bead to make a thread base. Then I did the first row of brick stitch using the size 10 seed beads.
Once the first row was all the way round I made a second row using the size 8 seed beads.
Next I'm sewing in and out of the previous row to create a fancy picot row.
Here is the finished picot row.
Next I made a little loop of beads so I could hang in the centre of my crystal and wire heart.
